Spring 2022 Chronicle

The Mu Theta chapter has successfully transitioned to an in person environment with great success in its recruitment process as it welcomed its largest class to date of 15 new brothers. Throughout the semester we have held numerous safe events for brothers to engage with each other in meaningful ways, including weekly study hours.

Winter 2021 Chronicle

Heading into our first semester of in-person instruction after more than a year of virtual learning, our chapter is ecstatic to start our rush events and welcoming the subsequent pledge class into our brotherhood. To facilitate our transition back on campus we will be revitalizing our academic programing as well as engaging with philanthropic opportunities.

Fall 2021 Chronicle

During this semester, our chapter held its first successful virtual rush and preparation for brotherhood. We successfully initiated our Zeta class, and welcomed nine new members into our brotherhood. Though we have gotten to meet them virtually, we are excited to get to know our newest brothers in person during the fall semester.

Our Official Eta Bid Class

We have officially pinned our Eta Class and look forward to supporting them through Preparation for Brotherhood. In early November, we will hold our first completely in-house Sigma Chi Initiation to fully accept our new brothers for life. See our Eta Class below.

Our Fall Update

The Mu Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi looks forward to welcoming potentially its largest bid class yet. Through following COVID provisions and safety regulations, we successfully conducted an in-person recruitment cycle. Once our new Eta class is established we will send a future official update.

Summer 2021 Chronicle

During this semester, our chapter successfully recruited nine new pledges to join our brotherhood. The virtual rush went extremely well, and despite not being able to meet with our rushes in person, we are confident they will make great additions to the chapter. Our chapter is also excited to launch our first virtual Derby Days project this spring semester.

Winter 2020 Chronicle

Though the fall semester will be online, the Mu Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi is committed to maintaining our brotherhood and creating a virtual recruitment process. We will be having chapter meetings and brotherhood events over zoom. There will also be information sessions and virtual tabling at club fairs throughout the semester in order to help find our newest brothers.

Fall 2020 Chronicle

Despite the chaos and confusion that came with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sigma Chi Mu Theta chapter was able to succeed academically and adapt to the difficult circumstances. Together, the brothers of our chapter achieved an average GPA of 3.5. This was a great accomplishment for our newly formed chapter, and we are hoping for future success as well.
